2014 iPad Air dummy model leaked, complete with Touch ID scanner

The Apple event for devices is still months away, but the iPhone 6 (in both its incarnations, with different screen sizes) has been rumored, and leaked,  numerous times. However, we’re yet to see some solid iPad Air leaks, but this one from today might just represent the start of the leaks to come.

Call it iPad 6, the New iPad Air, iPad Air 2, or whatever you like, the pictures above and below claim to depict just that: Apple’s iPad Air refresh. At a first glance, not much has been changed. The thing that you will immediately spot is the Touch ID fingerprint scanner that looks to make its way from the iPhone 5S to the next generation iPad Air (of course, if these images, and the leak itself, turns out to be true).

The rest seems to be unchanged, except for what appears to be a back-side microphone next to the camera (represented by a hole in the images below). There’s also another hole where the rotation lock key should be, but given that this is a dummy model, we’ll accept it for what it is.
