Lets start by taking a look at what comes with the Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless and what can be accomplished with this equipment.
Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless Digital Camera
: The camera itself. 2.0 MegaPixel max resolution (1600×1200). 1.6″ LCD display. 7MB of internal memory. One Secure Digital (SD) / MultiMedia card (MMC) storage card slot (accepts both types of cards). 4x digital zoom. [...]
“The WLAN Smart Card Consortium has released a complete set of specifications which it claims will allow mobile network operators to extend SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) technology for Wi-Fi hot spot authentication. The full solution consists of the newly released Handler Specification together with the WLAN SIM Specification released in September 2003.”
This sounds like a good idea. It would be great if I could put my SIM card into any device and have my GSM/GPRS/WiFi account access information activated instantly. It would also be nice if the devices could read [...]

In this review, we’ll evaluate Sena’s Dell Axim X3i case.WHAT’S HOT
For this particular product, I had the choice of five colors, and opted for the blue/black scheme. Sena also has available a built-in belt clip which I did not opt for, but probably should have. They seem to have mastered the belt clip and have integrated it flawlessly into their cases.
At first glance, the Sena case provides eye candy to those [...]

Windows Mobile 2003 is built on top of Windows CE 4.2. That was a major step forward, opening the door to the on-the-fly orientation changing and support for various resolutions that are elicit the most talk about Windows Mobile 2003, Second Edition. But even though WM2003SE isn’t yet out the door, Microsoft is already paving the way for subsequent versions. The first step is the release of the next version underlying operating system, Windows CE 5.0.
Because Windows CE doesn’t include the Graphic User Interface and other specifics, CE is used in a variety of [...]
SanDisk’s Wi-Fi SDIO card with 256Mb of Storage should be available soon for about $150. The Wi-Fi and storage memory features can only be used at the same type by devices running Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. That will also include Smartphones running WM2003 Second Edition.
“This device IS the big ticket uber phone for the PPC enthusiast. If you carry a PPC with you all the time, then getting this one will replace your high-end camera phone as well.”
A number of sites have run “What to expect from WM2003” pieces, but none have written anything about the plans of the maker of the most popular Pocket PCs, HP… until now. Marc Boudreau, Executive Editor of iPAQabilities.com recently quoted a contact at HP with the following information:
“My contact at HP has informed me that HP will be releasing a ROM update for current iPAQ Pocket PC’s from the H2200 series and up (H2200, H4100, H4300, H5100, and H5500 series). Even though I asked, there was no timeline given to me as to when we can expect the [...]
If you answered "Because I can!", that’s OK, but there are real-world reasons: The first would be in a scenario where you’d like to transfer and update files between your Pocket PC and a system that doesn’t run Windows. ActiveSync, after all, runs in Windows. Pocket Mac and Missing Sync fill that gap when it comes to Macintosh systems, but if you’re running some variation of Linux, Unix, FreeTOS, or even Fred, you’ll have access to [...]

“Dell will deploy Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition in future Axim products. We have no plans at this time to offer Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition updates for current Axim X3 or Axim X5 products.”
That pretty much says it all.

Pocket PC Paradise has reported that Microsoft officially announced Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition at the Mobility Developer Conference in San Francisco. The original article was in French. It has been translated (and editorialized somewhat) here for your reading:
It is only a few hours ago that the new version of the Microsoft operating system for Pocket PCs was announced officially. For the occasion, Bill Gates appeared in person at Mobility Developer Conference in San Fransisco where this Second Edition was introduced during a speech. “Windows Mobile 2003 Second [...]

A few years ago Apple Computers introduced a line of plastic-cased computers that were very pleasing to the eye. Since then the rest of the consumer electronics market has followed suit, and clear and colorful plastics now house everything from video game controllers to Desk- and Lap-top computers to cell phones. JAVOedge now brings this trendy idea to PDA cases. The plastic is deceptively [...]

Also in this article, it is revealed that T-Mobile has a 3 month exlcusive deal with HP for offering the iPAQ-G, also known as the H6300. The iPAQ-G is expected in June of 2004 for about $600 (presumably including contract).
It looks like Brighthand was able to play with a prototype of the Motorola MPx at CTIA Wireless 2004. Personally, I’m not interested in a clamshell design nor keyboard, but I hear that other people are. I wonder what will happen to the Phone and Media Player apps in Landscape mode.
“The MPx is the first Windows Mobile Phone Edition device to have the appearance of a phone. Like a lot of smart phones, it has a clamshell shape, with a screen on one side and a keypad on the other. But this is no ordinary smart phone. It has a screen at the full Pocket PC standard [...]
