When was the last time you were given $100 out of the blue? It’s a rarity. Sure, the upfront discount works for all of us and even the extra credit we get after the purchase can be enticing sometimes, but if you catch a retroactive credit offer by surprise, you’d better be ready and willing to pounce upon it.

So it goes that if you are planning to buy an HTC 10 direct from the company in the US, you’ll be able to get it for $599, or $100 off the list price. Sure, that’s been offered before, but say you already got your HTC 10 and missed out on the savings or you just happen to prefer getting your device direct from a carrier (they have stores you can be at to get the phones immediately and in person, you know)? Well, while the company can’t give you a crisp Benjamin on the spot, it will offer $100 on-site credit for accessories (and accessories only) if you sign up for its newsletter.

For the latter offer, you must have bought and activated an HTC 10 from Sprint, T-Mobile or Verizon between July 12 and 31. You can then link to HTC’s form for getting the credit in our source below. The deals last until August 31 and any accessory coupons must be used in full at once by December 1.
