Multitask7 is a homebrew Windows Phone 7 application that seems to bring fast app switching — or multitasking — to the platform possibly shaving off six months or so of waiting for the official Mango update to bring it.
The application comes from the same developer that has played with the Registry to get instant resuming on Windows Phone 7. Being activated by a half-button press, Multitask7 brings up a list of running programs allowing you to choose between them. It’s definitely not the cards concept Steve Ballmer presented in the MWC Keynote but it’s nonetheless a huge step forward, even in an early, demo stage. Check out the video below!
