If you are a software developer for Windows Phone 7 and you have applications up in the Marketplace, you can now access the download stats for your software on Microsoft App Hub.

Programmers couldn’t trace how their apps were doing in the Marketplace and thus had no way in telling how many downloads they served. With Microsoft paying developers in February 2011, knowing the number of downloads is for an application or game is a must-have tool also for those who have free applications up because it serves as a software popularity indication they can take into consideration when investing time and money for future support/development.
