We don’t usually cover every inch of the road Windows Phone is taking — even though it’s not baby steps anymore — but 50,000 is a nice number, round and all, and currently it seems to represent the number of applications available in the Windows Phone Marketplace.
Last time we looked at the numbers applications were counted up to (40,000) was back in November. Of course this is just 10% of Apple’s iTunes App Store titles but for a platform that is 14 months old it sure is a great achievement. If you are interested in a detailed breakdown of the apps with categories, prices and whatnot, make sure to check out the source link below! Until the next major milestone, congratulations to Redmond and the developers!
