We can’t read Chinese, even though we wish we could, so we’ll have to trust those who can on this. The image above is apparently an official press invite to a March 21 even which will mark the debut of Windows Phone 7.5′s “Tango” update — on the Chinese market.
The HTC Triumph, known to others as the HTC Titan, is already launched in the country and the Taiwanese manufacturer became the first OEM to bring Windows Phone 7.5 (“Tango” version) to the market. However, Nokia is planning its presence too with Stephen Elop himself promising Nokia Windows Phones for March 28.
With China being the largest mobile market in the world, Microsoft and its hardware manufacturing partners have a good chance to start selling volumes and boost Windows Phone’s global market share a little bit (at least until the two digit mark).
