Less than a month ago we told you that Windows Phone 7 might receive a security update soon in the context of those specific nine fraudulent certificates affecting several domains by Comodo.
According to SlashGear’s inside sources, that certain security update will be Windows Phone 7′s third one (after pre-NoDo and NoDo) and is likely to hit on May 3. Whether it will require the Zune client of it will be delivered over-the-air is not sure at the moment — though we’d say OTA taking into consideration the small weight. While Redmond successfully patched its Desktop client of Internet Explorer, the one on Windows Phone 7 is still vulnerable.
