With Microsoft having shipped some thousands of Windows Phone 7 units to developers, an early preview of the on-screen software keyboard for the platform is out. The developer compares the Windows Phone 7 soft keyboard to the iPhone on iOS and views Microsoft’s iteration favorably, noting that it is fast, responsive, and accurate. Users can also move the cursor to edit typing, and autocorrection is also a feature on the keyboard.
