We’ve previously heard from Microsoft COO that Windows Phone 7 is due in Europe around October with a likely launch in November in the States, but now Neowin is reporting that Microsoft Australia insiders are saying that the platform will be launching sometime in August, with other Microsoft subsidiaries likely to follow. For it’s part, Microsoft has only committed for a launch by the holiday season, leaving a pretty big window.
For now, though it does seem that everything is going on track for the launch of Windows Phone 7 devices, whenever that may be. We are seeing more devices getting surfaced recently, including the mysterious Asus model and the Samsung Cetus).
