If you downloaded the original YouTube app for Windows Phone 7, you might have been disappointed to see that it only really links to the mobile YouTube site. Sure it does enable YouTube video playback for embedded YouTube videos, too, but it’s not as feature-rich as some of the YouTube apps on other platforms. Well, a 3rd party developer decided to make a better interface for browsing YouTube on Windows Phone 7. YouTube by Lazyworm is designed to create a nice Metro style browsing experience for exploring YouTube videos. It doesn’t have settings for defining things like the quality of the videos, and it simply links to the actual video via Internet Explorer for playback. Still, it’s a nice replacement for the mobile YouTube website for searching and browsing through videos.
