A little more than a week after its appearance in the Windows Phone Marketplace, WhatsApp receives an update bumping the version number all the way to 1.2. The description seems to have changed in order to reflect that the service will cost in the future: “First year FREE! ($1.99/year after)”.
The new version brings landscape support. If you own a hardware QWERTY-enabled Windows Phone, you’ll love this. Also, when checking out your favorites, you’ll notice that there’s no letter-filtering for a smaller amount of people. Follow the source link to download or check out the update notification on your Marketplace tile to apply the refresh.
