We know that CDMA-ready Windows Phone 7 will not be available until the first half of 2011 — HTC 7 Pro might be a small exception here though with Sprint — but Verizon wants to make it clear to all of its customers that it’s not up to them.
In a November 8′s — Windows Phone 7 launch date — tweet, Big Red has assured one of its inquiring clients that it is ready for Windows Phone 7 and will bring “Windows 7 mobile devices” to the line-up “as soon as Microsoft has ‘em ready”. We’re pretty sure there’s a good demand for the handsets but until mid-2011, Verizon is all caught up with its current projects — like the Motorola Droid Pro and Droid 2 Global — and should not feel disadvantage due to Windows Phone 7 not being available for them just yet.
