If Android and iOS are getting official FIA Formula 1 applications and Windows Phone 7 is somehow being left out, the community is hard at work to deliver an unofficial — but great looking — application for Redmond-powered smartphones.

The application takes advantage of the Metro UI guidelines and looks very good. It brings you important information about circuits, teams and drivers — some of you will probably miss the Live Timing feature of the official application. Race Calendar, Constructor’s Championship, Driver’s Championship, Race Results, Qualifying Results and Driver, Team Profile information can be accessed.

The application doesn’t auto-update though so you might have to manually force the download of updated data files for the latest information. Oh, and there’s a counter to the next Race day.
