We previously posted three of the latest Windows Phone 7 ads from Microsoft’s humorous “Really” ad campaign. Well, two more expanded scenes from the series have surfaced, which are posted below. The last three ads were for AT&T’s Samsung Focus, but these promote the HTC Surround on TELUS.
In the first clip, a diver is unknowingly dangling his feet in shark infested waters while being distracted by his smartphone. This, of course, would lead to a painful outcome. The next scene takes place in an emergency room, where a patient awakes to find that his surgeon is handling a phone in the middle of his operation. The look on the patient’s face is priceless. Both ads close with the tag line, “It’s time for a phone to save us from our phones.”
Some critics dislike the ads because they don’t describe or show any features of the actual handsets, but I think they’re great teasers to a possible barrage of future Windows Phone 7 ads from Microsoft. Which of the five ads is your favorite? Also, if you have ever had a “Really” moment with your smartphone, feel free to let us know in the comments!
