Fujitsu-Toshiba Mobile Communications is Japan’s second mobile phone manufacturing company after Sharp and it has been recently announced as a Windows Phone OEM, with the Fujitsu-Toshiba IS12T already being unveiled.
It appears that Toshiba will be dropping out of the joint venture and Fujitsu is planning on buying its shares out. Fujitsu will become whole after acquiring Toshiba’s 19.9% and adding it to its own stake of 80.1% in 2012. Will this affect Windows Phone? Will the IS12T be the only phone Fujitsu Toshiba ever made?
