It’s fair to assume that you’ve read at least one of yesterday’s reports concerning Sahas Katta and how he managed to smoke Windows Phone with a couple of weather widgets on his Android-powered phone.

After a little bit of back and forth, Microsoft’s Ben Rudolf stepped in to let Sahas Katta know that he’s got “a laptop & phone (& apology) for” him. Katta dropped by the Santa Clara Microsoft Store top pick up the prize — a $1,049 Hunger Games Special Edition HP Folio 13 and a $899 Nokia Lumia 800 Bundle — and is now auctioning it on eBay. “I will ship the highest bidder of each listing the respective device and donate 100% of the proceeds to a charity of with the help of Reddit’s choosing”, he said, after adding that he is “rather happy” with his smartphone. Now this is a happy ending!
