Some of us like to hear a sound when we type on our Devices, some of us prefer haptic feedback and some dig none or a combination of the two. Well, comparing the iPhone SIP sounds to the upcoming sounds a Windows Phone 7 device will play when you type using the SIP, Matthew Bennett, Senior Sound and Sensory Designer with Microsoft gives a short demonstration comparing the two.
Turns out that, opposed to the iPhone using the same high pitched sound on and on every time you hit a key, Windows Phone 7 devices will use eight sound variations which are mostly soft. Using a variation every time you tap a key on the SIP avoids situations when you might get bored or even annoyed by them and you wish to turn them off. Check below the video and tell us what you think of the Windows Phone 7 SIP sounds.
