Rumor had it last week that the Sprint HTC Arrive — a carrier variant of the HTC 7 Pro with CDMA radio installed — will get the Windows Phone 7 May Security update on May 24. Well, it’s one day late but at least is reportedly rolling out to your QWERTY Windows Phones on Sprint.
In order to get the update, connect your HTC Arrive to your computer running Zune via the USB cable and check for updates — in case you didn’t receive the update notification. The security update fixes the issues with the fraudulent certificates that was affecting the smartphone iteration of Internet Explorer too but don’t expect to get much more than that. Anyways, props to Sprint for at least delivering the May update in the same month.
