We’ve already heard that coding and making applications for Windows Phone 7 is easier than it’s the case for instance with Android, but there will be a tool to help you even more.
Make My App is in its early stage but it will be a point-and-click utility to easily create XAP files (the standard for Windows Phone 7). Currently it supports RSS Feeds, Facebook and Twitter feeds via the web interface and you can also select an image for a background before you can pres the button to actually “XAP It”. The result will be a Silverlight app that you can deploy on the Windows Phone 7 Emulator. The only current downside is that you will need a password in order to use it. To request a password, send the author a message!
Thanks for the tip, George!
