We know this device has been available for a while — almost since T0 — but we wanted to be sure to cover it for you. The Samsung Omnia 7 is considered to be the European version of the popular AT&T Samsung Focus, even though the looks are rather different but the internals are roughly the same — as with any Windows Phone 7 smartphone on the market.
The Omnia 7 sports a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen which offers great contrast and vibrant colors, a five-megapixel camera with LED flash and 8GB of internal storage which is NAND. At the bottom it has two capacitive buttons for Back and Search which vibrate and a somewhat recessed Start button a la iPhone 4. The battery is 1,500mAh which could be enough for one-and-a-half, two days of moderate usage and is found under a metal battery cover. We like the concealed USB port at the top.
