We’ve heard of Microsoft’s plans to make Lync available for multiple platforms and recently Microsoft Australia said that the business messaging application might be available this year. According to recent reports, Lync will be launched tomorrow.
Microsoft is believed to announce on Tuesday its strong momentum in the adoption of its Office 365 cloud-hosted collaboration and communication suite. This occasion is also believed to be a good moment for releasing Lync. Microsoft Australia confirmed on Twitter that Lync will be landing on Windows Phone, Android, iOS and BlackBerry; we’re not sure Microsoft will make all these variants available tomorrow (if any) but it’s definitely good to see the collaboration tool being pushed out. Fingers crossed!
