There were more negative than positive hints of Angry Birds coming to Windows Phone 7 but we might just witness the tables being turned and who knows (?), maybe Angry Birds will hit Microsoft’s new mobile platform in time for Holidays.
In a reply to someone on Twitter, Rovio, the developers behind one of the most popular mobile games, Angry Birds, said “We will give you an update on our plans for WP7 on #angrybirdsday as well. Maybe a meetup in Redmond? Anybody? #angrybirdsday”. Now we don’t think Rovio will go all the way to Redmond just to announce that they will not support Windows Phone 7 and if our common sense and logic is right, we might hear the announcement on December 11 — date which our cited source refers to as the #angrybirdsday according to hear-say. Do you think Microsoft managed somehow convincing them to come on board or just Rovio saw the potential of Windows Phone 7?
