Late last week, we got a chance to see some images of what was supposed to be an in-testing LG Fantasy Windows Phone handset. While it was great to get a look at the hardware itself, rather than a render of it, the quality of those images, low resolution and blurry, left a lot to be desired. Today the phone returns, and this time we get a nice, unobstructed view.
Unfortunately, there’s no new information on the phone that accompanies this image. We were hoping to learn some further details about the hardware if the original poster who claimed to have bought the hardware from an LG tester in Romania returned to the XDA-Developers forum thread where the picture originated. While that user has since returned to the conversation, along with another Romania user (from whom this new image comes), we’re still waiting on learning any new info.
Like we could see in the last blurrycam pic, this supposed-Fantasy hardware differs slightly from the render we showed you over the summer. There’s a different balance of space around the bezel at the top and bottom of the phone, and you’ll notice the buttons at the bottom sport some minor differences. The one big feature (at least, depending on your opinion) we’ve learned of so far is that the Fantasy now appears to be arriving with a front-facing camera.
If those with access to this handset ever make it around to posting some images from the phone’s about screen, confirming further details, we’ll be sure to let you know.
