If you’ve got a Windows Phone, you know that there’s a “What’s New” feed in the pictures hub that shows the latest photos that your friends have posted to social networks like Windows Live and Facebook. Mainly you’ll probably only notice Facebook photo updates showing up here, but once in a while I noticed some Twitter posts that didn’t show a thumbnail image like the Facebook and Windows Live updates, but only included a link to the photo. Today I noticed some twitter updates in the pictures hub do now include a thumbnail image. It seems like Microsoft is doing some behind the scenes work to get Twitter photos filtered out of the normal Twitter stream and into the Pictures hub where they belong.
