The folks at PhotoFunia have released a trailer for their upcoming Windows Phone 7 app. If you’re unfamiliar with PhotoFunia, it’s a popular online photo editing tool that offers an assortment of neat effects for altering your images. After uploading a photo, it automatically identifies the face and then magically transforms it with the desired effect. For example, you can put yourself on a hundred dollar bill, the cover of a magazine, billboard, or even Mount Rushmore. If you’re feeling somewhat silly, you can also turn yourself into the Iron Man, Santa Clause, or a Jedi Knight. The tool is clearly intended for fun, and it seems to deliver in an easy to use package.
The PhotoFunia app for Android has been downloaded over 250,000 times with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. The teaser mentions that the WP7 variant is their best app yet, which is encouraging news for future users and the platform. It also looks like there will be at least 196 effects to choose from when it’s released to the Marketplace soon. Watch the clip below and then check out the PhotoFunia website to see all the cool effects offered, many of which will appear in the WP7 app.
