Back in the day when we reviewed the LG Optimus 7, one of the Windows Phone 7 launch devices, we took a closer look at the “Play To” DLNA application which since has been renamed by the manufacturer to SmartShare.
However, Nokia is now releasing a Beta of a similar app, called “Play To”, for Lumia Windows Phones. The principle is the very same: you can display pictures and videos on DLNA-capable devices over WiFi, if you are on the same network. These can be TV sets, BlueRay players, or a computer running Windows 7 for instance. Future releases will most definitely include Music streaming support too, just like LG’s iteration does. Follow the source link below if you want to help Nokia with your feedback on the app.
