The screenshots above come from Russia and they are allegedly snapped off of Nokia’s upcoming TV application to soon grace Lumia Windows Phones. Nokia TV would nicely compliment an already interesting application offering that the Espoo-company is offering to its Windows Phone customers.
According to the report, Nokia TV will allow for video show streaming on WiFi and Data from a searchable database of local network offerings. The first country to see the app will allegedly be Finland, with local stations like YLE, MTV3 and Nelopen being supported. There’s no info on a specific release date (as well as there is no official wording on the application) and whether it will bring more value to customers is yet to be seen. Still, the Nokia Lumia-exclusive app portfolio is continuously growing.
