There was no shortage of rumors regarding a possible future white version of the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone. First, a ROM was discovered for a Lumia which was referenced as white and later on retailers confirmed, sort of, the arrival of the pale-colored phone.
If you look at the image above, posted on Nokia’s Facebook page, you’ll see that the lady holding the phones is wearing different colored fingernails to match different colored Lumia 800s. The last shot is missing the phone but the nails indicate an upcoming white Lumia 800. A future white version will be the fourth color for the Windows Phone after magenta, cyan and black; it would also match the color palette of the Nokia N9.

Update: TheVerge reports that the white variant of the Lumia 800 will be released later this month. It will be glossy (like the white Nokia N9) and not matte, like the other colors in the family.
Update 2: The official press release is out. Hit the source link to read more.
