Nokia, Microsoft, Bing, Xbox, Office, Windows Phone are some of the most recognized brands in the world and they are ready to be available in one package as Nokia and Microsoft Nokia entered into a strategic alliance today.
Together with Nokia, Microsoft is building a complete set of products and services which are part of what will become the “Third Ecosystem”, meant to offer an alternative to currently available offerings. Steve Baller, Microsoft’s CEO said that “in this partnership with Nokia, Microsoft brings its’ Windows Phone software and the brand mobile consumers want like Bing, Office and of course Xbox Live”.
But Nokia is not regarded as just another Windows Phone OEM as the Finnish manufacturer is set to bring its knowledge and expertise in order to shape and define the future of the Microsoft mobile platform. The scale of the new ecosystem will be huge as both companies bring global reach, brand identity and product breadth. As the image above describes, the ecosystem contains all the products, services and solutions that answer today’s and tomorrow’s demands both in business, entertainment, commerce and aspects of our day to day lives.
