Nokia Maps for Windows Phone Placeholder Up In Marketplace

After Nokia’s first Windows Phone application placeholder popped up in the Marketplace, another software bit, this time a more important one, has been spotted in the Microsoft online application store.

Nokia Maps will definitely be preinstalled on upcoming Nokia Windows Phones (as it is on Symbian devices) to offer a free navigation solution powered by Nokia (OVI) Maps. According to the official description, “Nokia Maps helps you to be a local anywhere you go. See where you are and discover places nearby in a snap. Get reviews, uncover new destinations and reach them with smart routing for public transport, walking and driving.” Hit the source link to see some more screenshots about the Start Screen Tile, the map display and places details.
