After the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone went on sale in the U.K. on November 17, the manufacturer tweeted that it loves “the Lumia 800 reception in the UK”. Orange in the U.K. said the phone enjoys “the largest interest we’ve had in a Nokia handset”.
The image above comes right in context and from Microsoft UK’s PR team member James Tutt. Of course this could very well depend on the amount of devices on stock with that particular store but, on the other side, could give a proper answer to analysts that predicted the failure of Nokia with the new Lumia line-up. We just need official numbers from Nokia at the end of the year to have a better picture of how well the Windows Phone has been received.
