We already know that the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 Nokia Windows Phones don’t (just yet) support Internet Sharing despite the fact that the Lumia 610 and the Lumia 900 have the feature enabled out-of-the-box.
Microsoft and Nokia “are working diligently on that” and, according to recent reports from Italy, the WiFi tethering feature — introduced with Windows Phone 7.5 “Mango” — should be rolled out to the Lumia 800 starting the end of the month. The report is based on someone’s claims who allegedly attended a meeting between carrier H3G and Nokia in Milan, Italy.
If the above turns out to be true — and so far the only variable is the roll-out date — we should expect the same treatment and approach as far as the Lumia 710 is concerned.
