The Nokia Lumia 800 went on sale today on the British market and the manufacturer tweeted that it loves “the Lumia 800 reception in the UK”. According to Orange UK, the phone enjoys “the largest interest we’ve had in a Nokia handset, including the huge-selling N95 and 5800 handsets, and our marketing campaign hasn’t kicked in yet”.
If you visit Yahoo U.K.’s website, you’ll see huge advertisements for the Lumia 800. If you’re a fan of the game “snake” from the good old days, you can even test your skills online.
As far as American availability for the handset is concerned, AT&T is already in talks with Nokia for its Windows Phone devices for next year. At the moment it is not certain whether America will see the Lumia 710 and/or the Lumia 800 or completely new model(s).
