When Steven Elop talked about the Nokia Lumia 800‘s availability on stage today at the Nokia World event he showed us images of the factory being busy packing the phones in order to ship them to the six initial launch countries.
The just announced Lumia 800 is already available on pre-order in the U.K. with our friends over at Clove. It goes for £369.00 (£442.80 incl. VAT) which translates to roughly $710 for the unlocked phone, pretty mucj like the announced 420 EUR (around $584) before taxes.
To recap, you get the N9′s housing with a 1.4Ghz processor inside, 512MB of RAM, a 3.7-inch ClearBlack AMOLED WVGA display, eight-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash, 16GB of internal user memory, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, micro-USB connector and a 1450 mAh battery.
The official price and availability date is to be confirmed but we’re expecting to see the phone by the middle of next month for approximately the advertised prices, give or take a couple of dollars. Also check out the official Nokia pre-order page for the Lumia 800.
