You’ll have to wait less than two weeks, until January 11, to grab a Nokia Lumia 710 from T-Mobile. The phone was announced by the Espoo-based phone-maker together with the Magenta carrier on December 15 and, with just a little bit more to go, the phone appeared online with the carrier wearing a “coming soon” label.
The Lumia 710 sports a 1.4GHz processor, five-megapixel camera, 3.7-inch WVGA screen with ClearBlack technology and runs Windows Phone Mango. It will go for $49.95 on a two-year contract and will be hopefully the first of many Nokia Windows Phone on the American market. It’s not the powerhouse many of you have been waiting for but it is definitely an ice-breaker, making way for whatever it is that Nokia will be showing off at the upcoming CES, and then later throughout the year.
