In a little under two weeks, we’re finally going to see Nokia’s Lumia 900 arrive, as confirmed yesterday by AT&T. Lately, that’s been the hot Nokia Windows Phone handset to obsess over, but sooner or later, once the 900 finally lands, eyes are going to start looking back at the horizon for Nokia’s next effort. That may end up being a mysterious model to appear in some server logs recently, identifying itself as the Nokia Fluid.

In the latest stats posted over at Occasional Gamer, there’s a single entry for a phone reporting to be the Nokia Fluid. Obviously, that’s a code name, rather than something we’d expect to see on a finished Windows Phone handset, but the important thing is that it represents some hardware we haven’t seen yet.

It’s interesting that, besides this entry for the Nokia Fluid, the logs contain a similar singular entry for the Qualcomm Fluid. We’d certainly expect to see a Qualcomm chip in Nokia’s next Windows Phone device, so there’s no extra insight to be gained from its presence here, but it’s odd to see a Qualcomm device show up like this that identifies itself as anything other than a Qualcomm MSM7x27A. It’s probably nothing too interesting, but it could very well be this same Nokia Fluid we’re talking about.

For now, we’ll just have to keep the Fluid’s name in the back of our heads and see if we can’t match it up with some in-development Nokia hardware at a future date.
