Nokia’s GPS Navigation software on Windows Phone 7 didn’t really impress me much at version 1.5, however The Verge has gotten a look at Nokia Drive version 3.0 which will definitely include some new useful features. Version 2.0 of Nokia Drive should be coming even sooner with support for full offline destination searching (previously you had to be online just to set a destination even if you had downloaded maps for offline use.) Version 3 of Nokia Drive will bring features such as secondary live tiles that you can pin to your start screen for specific trips. It will also learn commuter routes and automatically adjust navigation depending on traffic and accidents. No word on wether Nokia Drive will finally integrate its navigation features with Bing Local search, Bing Maps, and Local Scout just yet but it’s good to see the software improving.
