As Nokia prepares for the launch of its first Windows Phone, it also appears to be gearing up for a refreshed retail presence, and with this refresh comes the first concrete evidence that the handset will be dubbed the Nokia 800.
While that name certainly falls in line with previous rumors, we also recently saw the company soliciting suggestions for a potential US branding of “Sea Ray“; like the Astound and the D.O.A. Journey, the company’s WP7 handsets may be in store for different domestic and international monikers. At least globally, “800″ matches up with recent Nokia releases such as the 500, 600, 700, and 701.

It sounds like these devices should start trickling out before the end of the year, but we wouldn’t expect a widespread — and definitely not a US — release until early 2012.
Note: We suspect that the price listed here is just a placeholder.
