With Microsoft’s deployment of the WP7 NoDo update, we knew that phones tied to a carrier would have the longest waits in store for them, and haven’t been anticipating seeing many get the software in the immediate future. With things like this, though, we like being wrong, and now there’s a change that HTC HD7 owners on T-Mobile in the States could be getting their NoDo as soon as tomorrow, March 29.
Though it doesn’t cite its source, TmoNews reports that it’s been informed that T-Mobile will start with the HD7 NoDo in just a manner of hours. We definitely weren’t counting on it arriving so soon, and it looks like this news has caught everyone a bit by surprise. In fact, it’s so odd that we’re hesitant to believe it, but we can certainly wait until tomorrow to know for sure.
Microsoft currently reports the update in the “Scheduling” phase, which should take no more than 10 days, start to finish. It’s conceivable Microsoft doesn’t want to jump the gun and is waiting to flip the HD7 to “Delivering update” once T-Mobile actually starts things rolling.
T-Mobile users, let us know if you get some update notifications tomorrow morning.
