Steve Ballmer has just revealed at today’s Windows Phone 7 launch event in Manhattan that a total of nine devices will ship in the US this year. Apparently these nine Windows Phone 7 devices will come from LG, HTC, Samsung, and most interestingly, Dell, which looks poised to manufacture the Lightening we saw several months back.

By the way, the official Windows Phone 7 tagline seems to be “Always Delightful, Wonderfully Mine.” Catchy?
