We already know that Microsoft will not stop with the Mango version of Windows Phone and we’ve heard rumored names like Apollo but apparently there will be another update until then. It is rumored to be called Tango and we recently saw it allegedly pop up online.
Now, the image above might be Tango build 8200 or something else but clearly shows something which seems to be new. The feature is called Content Search and it will pretty much do what the iPhone Search does on the Apple-phone. Conducting a search on this future Windows Phone build will first return local results (music, contact, email, Facebook friend, etc.) and only then it will look for the string online.
It’s no secret Microsoft is putting a lot of effort in keeping Windows Phone in the game with subsequent updates adding new features. Whether it’s called Tango build 8200 and when it will hit is unknown. Could we please have this with Mango this fall as one of the 500 features rumored? Thank you!
