More Sony Ericsson Windows Phone Images Reveal 2011 Prototype

A couple of days ago we’ve seen images of a Sony Ericsson Windows Phone prototype and asked ourselves whether the phone in the images was showing an old project or not? It turns out that we’re looking at the same device as last year.

Back in March 2011, when the buzz was all about Mango and the Microsoft-Nokia partnership, a slide-out QWERTY Windows Phone prototype wearing the Sony Ericsson branding popped up. The phone pictured above seems to be the exact same device but with a white keyboard instead of a black one. According to reports, the phone runs beta software but it does a great job. Is the project cancelled forever or will Sony be able and willing to produce a Windows Phone at the upcoming MWC?
