It seems Microsoft may be in the middle of pushing out an unexpected OTA update for Outlook Mobile on some Windows Mobile 6.x devices, at least according to these screenshots dropped into wpcentral’s inbox. The screen captures supposedly show the result of applying the 2.0.55.4140 update on an HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (23145), and you can clearly see new, finger-friendly features.

The update feature has been removed from the custom ROM I’m running, so I wasn’t able to verify this for myself. Have any of you received an update? If so, don’t hesitate to let us know about it in the comments!
