You may remember a nice little YouTube app called LazyTube that brought a decent YouTube app to Windows Phone when Google wouldn’t allow Microsoft to create an integrated YouTube app themselves. Today, we see that same developer’s new version of their YouTube app, and it’s called MetroTube. The upgrade is an incredible example of how a Windows Phone app should be done. It takes YouTube thumbnails and overlays their titles with beautiful typography. The app also supports pinning certain content like individual videos and video channels, all with very nicely designed live tiles that look great on your start screen. MetroTube even conforms to your theme and color settings and will modify itself to match.
