Finally a new Windows Live Messenger client is available on Windows Phone 7. C&R Holding’s Li’Messenger is now available for free in the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. It doesn’t offer a whole ton of features, but it connect directly to the Windows Live servers and supports multiple points of presence. That means you can log into the same account that you use on your other PCs and Xbox all at the same time and respond to messages from any of those logged-in devices. That’s a great feature and worth the download at least for me. Oh, and it also supports Facebook chat just like Windows Live Messenger 2011 on the desktop. Unfortunately if you navigate away from the program, it won’t notify you of new messages and there’s no live tile for it, but it will continue to run under the lock screen.
Does this one sound better or worse than Live Messenger by Miyowa?
