LG, as other Windows Phone 7 OEMs, has a dedicated section in the Marketplace only for owners of the manufacturer’s smartphones. That section, besides free apps for LG Windows Phone owners, got richer with a program called LGHangul, a Korean input application.
LGHangul, as the description says, “is the easiest way to type Korean on your Windows Phone”. One of the flaws — or not addressed lacks — of Windows Phone is the thin support for localization and additional languages. A new set will be added this year, hopefully with Mango, but until then, users speaking Korean for instance can grab dedicated applications to input text in their native tongue. The app is available for free for LG Windows Phone owners in the LG apps store section of the Marketplace.
