LG may not be selling the most handsets on the block, but its advertising firm deserves an ‘A’ for effort, as the company’s mobile division keeps pushing out one entertaining commercial after the next. Following that trio of long-form, mixed-media spots, LG is now screening a Windows Phone 7-powered Quantum ad that focuses on the QWERTY-equipped device’s DLNA capabilities. (With so few features differentiating this initial crop of WP7 handsets, it’s not surprising to see the same themes appearing again and again in marketing efforts.) Oh yeah, and the commercial stars a Swamp Thing-inspired Pond Man.
For even more campaigns from LG, check out the Hostage, the Code, and Cosmology, which all play up the Froyo-powered Optimus One, the mid-range handset which happens to be the company’s first certified hit in recent memory.
