A Czech site has gotten to spend some significant time with the device previously known as the LG E900, and claims that the Windows Phone 7-powered handset will be branded as the Optimus 7 at launch. Marketing-wise, this information would line up nicely with the pair of recently launched mid-range Android phones known as the Optimus One and Optimus Chic, with the former model rumored to hit Verizon as the LG Vortex. Of note is the fact that Optimus 7 will probably not then be the name for a retail version of the LG Panther developer handset — as rumors had previously implied — if in fact such a product exists.
MobilMania has also published a pretty epic 20-minute tour of the Optimus 7, which we’ve reposted below, along with a full gallery of glamour shots, which you can find by following the Via link.
