Remember that alleged Lenovo Windows Phone pictured in the wild at the end of October? Well, it looks like the company is really considering Windows Phone and a product running the Redmond platform, according to recent official wording.
Chen Yue, product manager at Lenovo, said that Lenovo is planning on releasing a Windows Phone in the second half of next year. No names, no specs, no rough date or price, no mention of Mango or Tango. For what it’s worth, the device pictured last month might (or might not) be fake but now, with company plans official, we might see a new OEM being added to the official Microsoft Windows Phone device maker’s list.
